Two scooter-riding suspects in Brooklyn are still at large for an attempted robbery spree last month.
The NYPD released on Friday night images of the perpetrators sought for the incidents that occurred early on the morning of Jan. 29.
Police said the first incident occurred at about 12:52 a.m. on Jan. 29, when the crooks rode up to a 33-year-old man near the corner of 19th Avenue and 79th Street in Bensonhurst. They displayed a knife and demanded money from the victim, but ultimately abandoned their effort and rode away without taking anything.
Three minutes later, authorities said, the duo confronted a 30-year-old man in front of an apartment building at 1810 78th St., and simulated being armed with a weapon while demanding money. Again, the suspects fled seconds later without taking property.
Finally, cops said, the crooks were successful in robbing a 39-year-old man in front of 2125 West 13th St. in Gravesend at about 1:20 a.m. on Jan. 29. According to police, they displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s money — leading to a physical confrontation.
During the fracas, police said, one of the suspects slashed the victim in the hand. They then forcibly removed two iPhones from him, then rode away on their scooters.Â
The incident was reported to the 62nd Precinct. Police said the victim suffered minor injuries, but refused medical attention.
Police described the suspects as men with dark complexions wearing all black clothing. One of the crooks also carried a backpack.
