One of the storylines of Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers is the legacy of Patrick Mahomes.
With two Super Bowl wins already at the age of 28, Mahomes has a chance to join four other quarterbacks with three or more Super Bowls.
Troy Aikman has three Super Bowl wins, all with the Dallas Cowboys. He won his third one at the age of 29 in 1996.
Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw each have four, all with one team. Montana won his third Super Bowl with the 49ers at the age of 32 in 1989, and his fourth one year later.
Bradshaw won his third Super Bowl with the Pittsburgh Steelers at the age of 30 in 1979, also winning his fourth a year later.
Tom Brady has won seven Super Bowls, six with the Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He won his third Super Bowl with the Patriots at the age of 27 in 2005 and won three more with the Patriots at the ages of 37, 39 and 41. His final Super Bowl win was with the Buccaneers at the age of 43 in 2021.
With a win on Sunday, Mahomes would become the second-youngest quarterback to win three Super Bowls. While it would be hard for Mahomes to catch Bradyโs seven rings, winning his third at the age of 28 falls right in line with those other NFL greats.
