STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A car crash on Hylan Boulevard in Grasmere is causing congestion in the area during the Thursday morning rush hour.
The crash involving multiple vehicles occurred around 7:30 a.m. at Hylan and Old Town Road.
Cars are moving slowly through one lane during the emergency response.
Firefighters are responding to the crash that involves at least two cars, a black sedan with significant front-end damage and a SUV with major dents in the the passenger doors. Airbags deployed on the SUV.
