STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Staten Island Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC) invites nominations for its prestigious “20 under 40″ leadership awards. The 25th annual award recognizes the contributions of twenty young professionals under the age of forty who have made significant impacts on Staten Island’s economy and quality of life.
To nominate a deserving individual, both SIEDC members and non-members can click here to fill out the survey. Nominations will be accepted until February 20, 2024.
Nominees must meet specific criteria to be eligible, including working on Staten Island (residency is not required), holding an executive level position in a public or private company, non-profit organization, or government agency, and demonstrating a significant contribution to the Staten Island business community and the borough’s economic vitality. Previous recipients of the “20 under 40″ award are ineligible.
“Every year, we are thrilled to put out a call for nominations for SIEDC’s renowned ‘20 Under 40′ leadership awards,” said Mike Cusick, SIEDC president & CEO. “The awards are a testament to our efforts to honor the young professionals driving positive change, bringing fresh perspectives, and shaping the bright, emerging workforce of our communities.”
The honorees will be celebrated at a ceremony during the SIEDC’s 25th Annual Business Conference on April 18, 2024, at the Hilton Garden Inn. The ceremony is free and open to the public.
