TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police have arrested a Town of Wallkill man in connection with the early Sunday morning assault in the area of Whispers Cocktail Lounge on North Street.
Wallkill Police said in that 4 a.m. incident, three people were injured – two had been shot and a third was treated for a head injury related to the assault. None of the injuries were life threatening, police said.
At 10:14 p.m. on Monday, February 19, police arrested Tyrone Minton, 51, of Wallkill at a residence at 14 Kensington Way. He was charged with two counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.
