The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place at an apartment complex in the city.
Police say around midnight on February 21 officers were dispatched to the Ithaca Arthaus for shots fired.
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots within the apartment complex, and officers located damage that was the result of gunfire.
Evidence was also collected at the scene confirming that shots had been fired within the apartment complex.
The apartment was unoccupied at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.
However, a multi-agency investigation is now underway.
