Syracuse man apologizes to family of man he killed in Strathmore: ‘I wish I could go back’

Syracuse, N.Y. — A Syracuse man who admitted he fatally stabbed another man during a fight in Syracuse’s Strathmore neighborhood in 2022 apologized to the man’s family at his sentencing Friday.

“I wish I could go back,” Christopher Bieling said. “I really did like the guy and I didn’t want any of this to happen.”
