Rasmus Dahlin scored his 15th goal of the season at 1:42 into overtime, giving the Buffalo Sabres a 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena on Thursday night.
Buffalo (28-28-4) trailed 2-1 after 40 minutes, but Tage Thompson’s 18th of the season midway through the third period helped the Sabres get it to OT.
Alex Tuch (17) also found the back of the net, while Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen stopped 21-of-23 shots.
Buffalo went 2-for-3 on the power play and 2-for-3 on the penalty kill.

The Sabres will head home for a pair of home games this weekend, starting Saturday at 7 p.m., when they host Jack Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights.
