WOODBURY – A 36-year-old Schuyler Lake woman was struck and killed while standing in the center lane of the Thruway in the Town of Woodbury.
State Police said that just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, Erika Gargan, 36, who was standing in the center lane, was fatally struck.
Troopers said the driver of the 2021 Honda CRV, David Millman, 67, of Washington, New Jersey, was not injured.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call the State Police Troop F BCI at 845-344-5300 with any information.
