3, 2, 1, go … to Brooklyn!
The Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival this week announced its highly anticipated 2024 return — and a groundbreaking move to a new 450,000-square-foot culinary campus at the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park.
The festival, now in its 17th year, will take place from Oct. 17-20, featuring famed Food Network chefs, immersive tastings, master classes and more. For the first time, fan-favorite events such as The Grand Tasting and walkaround pier parties will be consolidated into one expansive and tented location at the Brooklyn Army Terminal.
Festival Founder and Director Lee Brian Schrager said he is excited about the event’s expansion over the bridge.
“We look forward to welcoming more Brooklyn chefs and partners to this year’s events and further providing them with a platform to showcase their impeccable talent,” he said in a statement.
The festival kicks off on Oct. 17 with a party at the Brooklyn Army Terminal’s Pier 4, featuring the Best of Brooklyn and over 25 culinary stars from the borough. Celebrity-hosted pier parties will continue throughout the festival, including the Sweet 16 celebration of Rachael Ray’s Blue Moon Burger Bash presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats, which was originally launched in Brooklyn 15 years ago.
The Grand Tasting, a highlight of the festival, will take place on Oct. 19 and 20, showcasing winemakers, distillers, and restaurants, along with culinary demonstrations by Food Network stars and renowned chefs.
The Brooklyn Army Terminal will serve as the festival’s anchorage, with an additional 75-plus events happening in Manhattan, including intimate dinner series, walk-around tastings and brunch parties, among other events.
