POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Legislature has announced that the time for the legislative board meetings will be changed to 6:30 p.m. instead of 7 p.m. starting with the regular meeting of the legislature on March 11. However, the legislative committee meetings will still begin at 5:30 pm.
According to Legislature Chairman Will Truitt, this change has been made to ensure that meetings don’t extend too late while still allowing sufficient time for public participation.
He also mentioned that this time change will align the Dutchess County Legislature meeting times with other government bodies across the region.
