Syracuse, N.Y. — Gavin Crawford, a 3-star offensive lineman out of Maryland, joined the running list of class of 2025 players considering Syracuse football among their top programs Monday.
Crawford narrowed his list to SU, Duke, Florida, West Virginia and Maryland.
He also had offers from Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan State and others.
Crawford (6-foot-4, 285 pounds) plays interior offensive line for Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland. He’s the No. 15 player in the state and No. 30 at his position nationally according to the 247Sports Composite.
Good Counsel finished 10-1 in 2023 and won the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championship.
Crawford has an official visit scheduled with West Virginia. He has not yet announced visits with his other top schools.
Syracuse is in the top mix for a number of prospects so far in the class of 2025. Only one player, 4-star edge rusher Sharlandiin Strange, has verbally committed.
