STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The victim of Monday’s car crash in which a pickup truck slammed into a retaining wall in Tottenvile and the man thought to be the driver was found dead on the beach a distance away, has been identified by a law enforcement source as Dennis Malanga, 69, of Tottenville.
