Headless torso of 44-year-old man found in Bronx apartment: Report

A Bronx apartment was the site of a horrific scene as police discovered a headless and armless torso Tuesday night, the Daily New is reporting.

Officers uncovered the remains, later identified as a 44-year-old man, inside a sixth-floor apartment on Summit Avenue, near W. 162nd St. in Highbridge at about 8:30 p.m. The manโ€™s legs were still attached to the body, the report said.

Surveillance video shared with the News showed a man standing next to a container in a hallway outside the victimโ€™s door. The footage also allegedly showed the man entering and exiting the apartment with garbage bags after having changed clothes several times, and at one point donning a long blonde wig, the report said.

A 30-year-old man who let police into the apartment was later taken into custody for questioning. No charges have been filed, the report said.
