Syracuse man found with drugs and rifle converted to handgun, police say

Syracuse, N.Y. – A Syracuse man was found in possession of more than 500 doses of fentanyl, small amounts of other drugs and a rifle that was modified into a handgun, police said.

Daniel Bartell, 33, was arrested Friday and faces multiple gun and drug charges, according to county jail records.
