Canastota, N.Y. — A village police officer in Madison County has been charged with stalking and harassing a woman who tried to break up with him, county officials said Thursday.
Robert McCormick, 59, of Oneida, was arrested Feb. 9 after a domestic dispute on Jan. 29, Samantha Field, a county spokesperson, said in a news release. He was also found with cocaine at the time of his arrest, officials said.
