The Seneca Falls Backpack Program has received a significant boost thanks to a donation from Seneca Meadows. The funds will go toward providing daily nutritious snacks and replenishing the food pantry, offering substantial support to families in the area.
The program has evolved to serve the community better, moving from delivering food weekly to individual children to establishing a family food pantry within the Seneca Falls School District. This pantry is open for pickups every Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., located at the district’s new administration and transportation facility at 2 Butler Avenue.
Cyndy Lazarro, President of the Seneca Falls Backpack Program, praised Seneca Meadows for its ongoing support.
