Winter weather advisory issued for Oneida County until Monday midday – up to 6 inches of snow

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 4:06 a.m. on Sunday in effect until Monday at 11 a.m. for Oneida County.

The weather service states, “Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.”

“Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute,” comments the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.”
