The Jets don’t have many questions or needs on the defensive side of the ball as they head into free agency on Monday, with the start of the negotiating window at noon. But Sunday revealed how they might address an uncertain position as the offseason begins.

The Jets are re-signing safety Chuck Clark to a one-year deal, according to ESPN. It’s a move that could mark the end of safety Jordan Whitehead’s run with the team, with the two-year starter set to hit free agency this week.
