The National Weather Service issued a snow squall warning at 4:31 p.m. on Sunday in effect until 5:30 p.m. for Broome and Tioga counties.
The weather service comments, “Reduce speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.”
