NASSAU – A Nassau man is accused of stalking and having five illegally possessed weapons among his gun stockpile, State Police said Friday.
Troopers said their investigation found that the suspect, 41, used a tracking device to keep tabs on the alleged victim and that he distributed images of another victim without permission.
Troopers said they seized the stockpile of 40 firearms found in the his vehicle and home, including the five that were illegally possessed and others that were found unsafely stored in a home with a child.
The man was arrested after a traffic stop on Route 20 in Schodack, arraigned at Schodack Town Court and released. He’s charged with criminal possession of a weapon, stalking, unlawful dissemination of an intimate image and endangering the welfare of a child.Â
