40th annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration kicks off Friday in Niagara Falls

The Niagara Falls Ancient Order of Hibernians will kick off its 40th annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on Friday in the Niagara Falls Convention Center, 101 Old Falls St.

Billed as the region’s largest St. Patrick’s Day party, the event starts at 5 p.m., 15 minutes after the start of what organizers call the world’s shortest parade at Rainbow Boulevard and Old Falls Street.ย 

Merriment inside the convention center will include traditional Irish food, drinks and live entertainment by the Restless Soles, a DJ and the McCarthy School of Irish Dance.

Tickets are $10 if purchased in advance, or $15 at the door. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free when accompanied by one paying adult.
