Second-prize winning Mega Millions ticket sold at store in Lancaster

Someone who bought a Mega Millions ticket at a convenience store in Lancaster is $1 million richer.

That is the payoff for a second-prize winning ticket in Friday night’s drawing that was sold at the 7-Eleven store at 5821 Broadway, New York Lottery officials announced. It matched the five winning numbers, 13, 25, 50, 51 and 66, but not the Mega Ball number of 6.

Nationwide, nobody won the grand prize jackpot of $815 million by matching all six numbers. Mega Millions players pick five numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball number from 1 to 25. Drawings are held Tuesday and Friday evenings.
