New Wheatfield substation aims to improve Niagara County sheriff’s response times, coverage

The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office has opened a new substation at Wheatfield Town Hall.

Sheriff Michael J. Filicetti said in a news release that the substation will improve response times and enable more patrol coverage and visibility in towns at the western end of the county.

The new location at 2800 Church Road does not include public hours, but county residents may call 716-438-3393 for a patrol response.

The substation was the result of planning and discussions between Wheatfield Town Supervisor Don MacSwan and Chief Deputy Aaron Schultz, Filicetti said in the release.
