Independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. to campaign in West Seneca in April

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a controversial former Democrat now seeking to run as an independent in the presidential election, is coming to Buffalo next month.

The son of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of President John F. Kennedy will speak from 12:30 to 3 p.m. April 27 at Koteckiโ€™s Grandview Grove, 4685 Seneca St. in West Seneca.

An organization called the Constitutional Coalition of New York State is sponsoring Kennedyโ€™s appearance.

Kennedy voters could have a huge impact on the outcome of the election, if that poll is accurate. It had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.6%.

Meanwhile, a Siena College poll in February of 806 registered New York State voters asked if they had a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Kennedy.

Forty percent said they had a favorable opinion of him, 37% unfavorable and 23% had no opinion. Among Democrats, 47% said unfavorable, while 45% of both Republicans and independent voters both said favorable.
