Syracuse men’s lacrosse braves chill on road against Hobart in fight for Kraus-Simmons Trophy (live updates)

Geneva, N.Y. — Syracuse men’s lacrosse is braving the elements for a rivalry bout with Hobart on Saturday afternoon at David J. Urick Stadium.

The game was moved up from an evening start time to 3:30 p.m. due to cold, snowy weather that has swept Central New York this weekend. Of course it would happen the first time SU leaves the JMA Wireless Dome to visit the Finger Lakes in several years.

This is the 109th meeting between the two programs. Syracuse (8-2) leads the series 80-26-2. The Kraus-Simmons Trophy is on the line.

The Orange is riding a four-game win streak, having beat High Point, Johns Hopkins, Delaware and Duke. This is its first true road game, having played Johns Hopkins and Delaware at neutral sites during a week-long, spring break road trip.

The game is streaming on HWSAthletics.com. Radio broadcasts are available on TK99 and WAER.
