FDNY fights fire at South Beach Houses on Sunday night; no injuries reported

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The FDNY battled a fire at the South Beach Houses on Sunday night.

The fire was reported at 10:13 p.m. at 141 Norway Ave., between Kramer Street and McClean Avenue, according to a spokesman for the FDNY/EMS.

About 60 Fire and EMS personnel responded, and the blaze was brought under control at 10:43 p.m., according to the spokesman.

No injuries were reported and the blaze is under investigation by the fire marshals, according to the spokesman.
