Former Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots running back Damien Harris has retired from the NFL, he announced in an Instagram post on Monday night.
Harris, 27, was drafted by the Patriots in the third round of the 2019 draft and spent four seasons there before joining the Bills in 2023. He played in just six games with Buffalo due to a neck injury.
“Gratitude is defined as ‘the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.’ Today, I am grateful to have found the strength to walk away from the game I love so much,” Harris wrote.
