The Buffalo Zoo development director is leaving one of Buffalo’s historic attractions for another – the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site.
Major work is currently being done at the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site, including reconstruction of the building’s Greek Revival
Spencer Morgan, 38, on Monday will become executive director of the Ansley Wilcox House, 641 Delaware Ave., the mansion near the intersection of North Street, where the 26th president of the United States was abruptly sworn into office in September 1901 following the assassination of William McKinley at the Pan-American Exposition.
Morgan succeeds Stanton H. Hudson Jr., who has filled those shoes for the past 10 years and was involved with the board of trustees in a number of capacities for 20 years before that, including a stint as board president.
