STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Brewers come together once again at the borough’s annual beer consortium known as Brew Autism. As its name suggests, the sampling event includes a charitable theme to benefit families with autistic children.
Brew Autism takes place tomorrow Saturday, April 6, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Great Hall at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Gardens, Livingston. The cost is $60 per guest with food and samples included.
Dishes will come from local eateries — Craft House of Tompkinsville, Ho’Brah and Kettle Black of West Brighton and Harvest Cafe of New Dorp Beach. Music is supplied by Everything Entertainment and DJ Mark O’Brien.
Usually Brew For Autism is sold out by this time, as history shows. But for the procrastinating partaker, the availability is fortuitous news.
Raffle prizes included baskets donated from various borough vendors. Organizers from Pour Standards brew club have slated all donations to Autism Warriors, Action Play, Lifestyles and On Your Mark.
Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite.com — or enter “Brew For Autism 2024” on the EventBrite.com website.
