The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Leicester man following a traffic stop in Savannah.
Jeffrey Chichester, 49, is accused of operating a vehicle at a high rate of speed on Route 31 on Sunday around 1 p.m.
Deputies performed a traffic stop and was found to be intoxicated.
Further investigation determined that his BAC was over three-times the legal limit at 0.25%.
He was charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, and other traffic violations. Deputies said he was taken to the Wayne County Jail for processing.
