HS flag football: Three Staten Island teams among final four as PSAL semis are set

The PSAL flag football semifinal round is set and once again a trio of Island teams have made it to the top division’s final four.

Top-seed Susan Wagner and Tottenville, the two most successful programs in the city since flag began in 2010, find themselves on a collision course for what would be a third straight year in the title tilt, while upstart Curtis has pulled off consecutive upsets in the school’s first-ever postseason appearance. Wagner edged Tottenville 7-6 in last year’s finale.
