Independent Health is again getting rave reviews from its members.
Independent Health has been ranked as the second-highest health plan for member satisfaction in the New York region, according to a study conducted by J.D. Power of U.S. commercial member health plans.
It is the 12th time since 2010 that Independent Health has been recognized by J.D. Power as being the top- or second-rated plan for member satisfaction in its region. That includes six times as the highest-ranked plan.
Independent Healthโs overall score of 639 in the latest study is 63 points above the New York region average score of 576.
The study measures satisfaction among members of 147 health plans in 22 regions throughout the U.S based on accessibility of health services, digital channels offered, ease of doing business, saving time and money, people, coverage offerings, resolving complaints, and trust.
