The Romulus Central School’s run-off election set for June 18 has been cancelled.
Alicia Rath withdrew her name from the ballot, conceding to Caroline Hamelin.
At a special meeting, the Board of Education accepted Rath’s withdrawal and confirmed Hamelin’s election to a three-year term starting July 1, 2024.
Hamelin will be sworn in on July 9, 2024.
