Galen man arrested for improper firearm storage after disturbance

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man from the Town of Galen after investigating a disturbance on May 10.

Nathan D. Rigby, of Galen, was found to have left his car running in the middle of the road at No 39 and Allen Road in Savannah. Inside the car, deputies found two firearms in plain view, one of which was loaded.

Rigby was charged with improper storage of firearms inside a vehicle. He was processed and released with a ticket to appear in Savannah Town Court on July 25.
