State Police divers recovered a body believed to be missing person Ryan Liszewski Wednesday morning, police said.
SCOTIA ย โ The body of a village man reported missing earlier this month was recovered Wednesday morning by State Police divers in the Mohawk River near Alplaus, according to Schenectady police.
City police, who were assisting in the search for Ryan J. Liszewski along with several other law enforcement agencies, said the man’s death is not considered suspicious. An autopsy is slated for Thursday.ย ย
Liszewski, 53, was last seen April 8 near Erie Boulevard close to theย Maxon Road extension in Schenectady.ย His body was found Wednesday morning by State Police Underwater Recovery Team members. The divingย team was called in Wednesday morning because of Liszewski’s last known location. ย
The county’s Street Crimes Task Force also chased down leads in the search.
