A 32-year-old man riding a scooter in Manhattan was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver, cops said Tuesday.
The victim was riding on Frederick Douglass Blvd. when the driver of a passing vehicle struck him near W. 155th St. in Harlem about 10 p.m. Monday, cops said.
He was thrown off his scooter and was found crumpled on the asphalt.
Medics rushed the victim to Harlem Hospital, where he died about 5 a.m. Tuesday, cops said. His name was not immediately released.
The driver who struck him sped off, witnesses told police. No arrests have been made.
