State Police urged drivers to avoid the Round Lake Bypass while crews work to clean the crash scene
ROUND LAKE – The Round Lake Bypass, a road workers use to get to GlobalFoundries and other places, is closed after a tanker truck rolled over Wednesday morning, State Police said.
Troopers say all drivers should seek alternative routes. The closure, announced shortly after 8:30 a.m., could be in place for at least two hours.
The closure is in place northbound at the Curry Road Traffic Circle.
It was not immediately clear if the vehicle was leaking or what cargo it was carrying.
