KINGSTON – A fight in the cafeteria of Kingston High School Wednesday sent one student to the hospital in what Superintendent of Schools Dr. Paul Padalino called “reprehensible and unacceptable.”
He said the attack was not random and goes beyond the school walls.
The superintendent said the altercation lasted about 18 seconds and the school medical team responded immediately while a hold-in-place was issued.
Security was increased today (Thursday) with all bags brought to school by students being checked as they enter the building until further notice.
