SCHAGHTICOKE – The body of a Rensselaer County man who disappeared the night before Thanksgiving has been found, Rensselaer County sheriff’s officials said Friday.
The body of David Fearnley, 45, was found Thursday by Schaghticoke firefighters in the Hoosic River during a water training exercise. He had been missing since Nov. 23.
Sheriff’s investigators say there is no evidence of foul play.
Fearnley’s car was found on the side of the road in Pittstown, near the Hoosic River. His dog was found wandering nearby. He leaves behind a wife and six children, in their teens and 20s.
