Man, 20, shot to death on Brooklyn street; three sought

A 20-year-old man was fatally shot on a Brooklyn street Monday morning, police said.

The victim was shot in back and in both arms on Paerdegat First St. near E. 79th St. in Canarsie around 10:15 a.m., according to cops.

A witness recalled hearing four shots.

“I went right down on the ground,” said the man, who did not want to be named. “He was lying there bleeding. He looked bad.”

Three men fled in a blue sedan and are being sought.

Medics rushed the victim to Brookdale University Hospital, but he could not be saved. His name was not immediately released.

“It’s tough, especially in this neighborhood,” said the witness. “It doesn’t happen here.”
