The College of Saint Rose men’s basketball team will play an exhibition game Wednesday, Nov. 1 against Syracuse at the JMA Wireless Dome, Golden Knights head coach Brian Beaury said Wednesday.
It will be the fifth time the Golden Knights and Orange will meet in an exhibition, following games in 2004, 2005, 2011 and 2018, all won by the Orange in Syracuse.
Beaury is returning to the Golden Knights after a five-year retirement, while former Syracuse player Adrian Autry is in his first year as the Orange’s head coach, promoted from assistant to replace Jim Boeheim. “I honestly don’t know,” said Beaury about the player departures. “It happened before I got there.”
Beary said he had to fill all 10 scholarships that are available under Division II guidelines.ย
