COLONIE — Veteran quarterback Jonathan Bane has asked for his release from the Albany Empire, he said via direct message.
Bane said before Tuesday morning’s practice, the first under coach Pete Porcelli, that he planned to stay with the arena football team. He then participated in practice for at least an hour.
