Webster Golf Club has locked horns with the Monroe County Water Authority in an appellate court on Tuesday over alleged water stream diversion.
The golf club claims that the Water Authorityโs diversion of a creek-feeding stream near the 8th hole has caused a significant dry-up on the golf course.
This action, the club insists, stems from a construction project completed by the Water Authority in 2013.
However, the Water Authority contends that the change in the streamโs course resulted from the construction of a water treatment plant and parking lot, for which they deny responsibility.
