Tottenville turned in a suffocating defensive effort in front of goalie Michael Riomao and rode senior Ethan Powers’ first career hat trick to a convincing 9-2 victory over visiting Midwood in the PSAL lacrosse semifinals on Wednesday.
The unbeaten Pirates advanced to the PSAL title game for the fourth consecutive season; having won in each of the previous two. They will face the winner of Thursday’s game between No. 2 Frederick Douglass and No. 3 Madison Sunday at Curtis HS at 5 p.m.
