Bills’ Damar Hamlin fully participates in team drills months after cardiac arrest

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has taken another significant step on his path back to playing in the NFL.

Hamlin, who is working his way back from a cardiac arrest that he suffered in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals six months ago, was a full participant in Tuesday’s offseason workout at One Bills Drive.

General Manager Brandon Beane spoke to reporters after the workout ended and said the team will continue to ramp him up during next week’s mandatory minicamp. The biggest hurdle will come in training camp when the pads come on.
