Massena school officials hold surprise party for retiring Superintendent Brady

MASSENA—Members of the Administration and Board of Education at Massena Central School gathered recently at Eylands Restaurant for a surprise retirement dinner for Patrick Brady, who wraps up a 35-year career in education at the end of July.

Brady has been Superintendent in Massena for eight years, and was chief school administrator in Potsdam for 10 years before that.

Members of the board presented Brady with a globe, an homage to his earlier career as a social studies teacher. A plaque on the globe reminds Brady that he “changed the world for our students.”
