NYPD seeks gunman in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn daylight shooting: VIDEO

Cops hunted Saturday for a masked gunman who wounded two people in a brazen broad daylight shooting on a commercial street in Brooklyn.

The gunman walked up to a gray sedan stopped next to an MTA bus on Fifth Ave. near 95th St. in Bay Ridge at about 4:10 p.m. Friday, pulled a gun, and opened fire into a parked car.

After the shots rang out, two men fled the sedan from the front and rear passenger doors and bolted down the street. Bystanders further down the busy street ran off with them.

The woman, 21, was struck once in the right thigh, police said.

After the woman got out of the car, it rolled slowly forward, hopped a curb, and slammed into a lamp post.

The gunman ran away on 95th St. heading towards Third Ave. and he remained on the loose on Saturday.

Another victim, a 24-year-old man, was struck once in the right arm, said cops. An NYPD spokesperson said it was unclear where the second victim was when he got struck.

Medics rushed the two victims to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn where they were reported in stable condition, cops said.

โ€œPD believe shooting was targeted,โ€ the local City Council member, Justin Brannan (D-Brooklyn), wrote in a tweet on Friday night.

A spokesperson for the NYPD could not confirm whether or not it was a targeted attack.

Cops described the gunman to be about 20 to 25 years old, with a dark complexion and a medium build.

Surveillance video captured after the incident shows him wearing an all-dark blue tracksuit with white and red sneakers and a black ski mask with his face showing, running away from the scene.
