Cayuga County’s Public Health Director, Kathleen Cuddy, has been elected to the board of the New York State Association of County Health Officials.
The association, representing 58 local health commissioners and public health directors, serves as an advocate for the state’s local health departments.
Cuddy, who has been Cayuga County’s public health director since 2014, is one of five new board members.
The other newly-elected officials include Sara Boerenko of Montgomery County, Peter Buzzetti III of Chemung County, Gregson Pigott of Suffolk County, and Tyler Shaw of Allegany County.
