Syracuse, N.Y. — The extra-long July 4th holiday weekend will be hot and humid in Upstate New York, with a chance for rain and thunderstorms each day.
Tonight, winds will start blowing from the south and southwest. That will clear out the Canadian wildfire smoke thatโs making the air unhealthy, but it will also draw in heat and moisture from the baking Southeast.
